Preserving Dinetah Water Security for Generations: Navajo Nation Water Settlements Presentation on November 21st!

On November 21st, the University of Arizona audience and the community are invited to join the Navajo Nation Water Resources Department, Navajo Nation Leadership, Department of Justice and others to learn about the updates on Navajo Nation Water Settlements .

The settlements in question are are: 

S. 4633 and H.R. 8940 Northeastern Arizona Indian Water Rights Settlement Act of 2024,

S. 1898 and H.R. 3977 Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project Amendments Act of 2023, and 

S. 4998 and H.R. 8945 Navajo Nation Rio San José Stream System Water Rights Settlement Act of 2024.

The presentation will be hosted in ENR2 S107 from 10:00 to 11:30 am, lunch following.
