Jose Arriola
José Arriola has been involved in community health for over ten years. He has worked for Santa Cruz County as an epidemiologist, health specialist, and sanitarian. He has been responsible for the implementation ad management of Santa Cruz County’s disease surveillance system focusing on planning, developing, and organizing the public health response to natural or human-caused biological events, disease outbreaks, or other public health emergencies that endanger community health and safety. As a sanitarian, he has been responsible for enforcing State of Arizona regulations for health, sanitation, and the environment.
José received a bachelor’s of science in health science, community health education, and a master’s in health services administration, both from the University of Arizona.
