Launched in 2015 as Visiting Fellows, the Visiting Associates brought new knowledge and fresh perspectives to the University of Arizona campus and our local communities. The Agnese Nelms Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice provided each Visiting Associate with a one-time grant of up to $20,000. Researchers, scholars, and non-academic professionals awarded between 2015 and 2019 supported service work, research, and advocacy collaborating with UArizona colleagues and Southwest communities.
